This group consists of 24 women who play an active role in this Banc Villageois, which was created in December 2009. The group members all live in the same neighborhood and get along nicely. Their main activity is small trade.

Mrs. Ousmane (sitting at the far right in the photo) is the featured borrower. Age 44, she is a married mother of three children, two boys and a girl. She has a stall at the market where she sells fruits and eggs. She has six years of experience in this activity.

She will use this loan to buy fruits from orchards and plantations to sell wholesale to the retailers of the central market of Kolda. She will buy 800 kg of bananas for 96,000F CFA to sell for 215F CFA per kilo, for a total of 172,000F CFA, and 25 baskets of mangos at 2,000F CFA per unit totaling 50,000F CFA to sell for 2,800F CFA each for a total of 70,000F CFA. She will also pay the transportation and handling costs of 14,000F CFA.

Each week, after deducting business expenditures and daily expenses, she earns an average net profit of 30,000F CFA.

The profits earned through her activity will help her to save to buy a house for her children.
Ce groupe est composé de 24 femmes très actives dans ce banc villageois créé Décembre 2009. Elles sont toutes issues du même quartier et ont une bonne entente entre elles. Elles ont comme activité principale le petit commerce.

Madame Ousmane (assise à l’extrême droite dans la photo), est l’emprunteuse vedette du groupe, âgée de 44 ans, elle est mariée et mère de 03 enfants (2 Garçons et 1 fille).
Elle a une place au marché ou elle vend des fruits et des œufs, elle a une expérience de 06 ans dans ce domaine.

Avec ce prêt elle compte s’approvisionner en fruits dans les vergers et plantations et vendre en gros aux détaillants du marché central de Kolda.
-Elle achète 800 kg de banane à 96 000F Cfa pour le revendre en détail à 215F Cfa le kg soit 172 000F Cfa
-Elle achète aussi les 25 paniers de mangue à 2 000f Cfa/U soit à 50 000f Cfa pour les revendre à 2 800F Cfa soit à 70 000F Cfa
-Elle paie aussi des frais de transport et de manutention à 14 000F Cfa
Chaque semaine après déduction de ses charges liées à son commerce et la dépense quotidienne elle se retrouve avec un bénéfice net hebdomadaire de 30 000F Cfa en moyenne.

Les bénéfices de son activité lui permettront d’épargner et en vu d’acheter une maison pour ces enfants.
