A loan of $400 helped to acquire more animals and buy balanced food for them.

German's story

German, 57, is married and has two children. He lives in his own house in Angostura, a village in the agricultural district of Tambogrande, about ten minutes on the left side of the Piura river which flows through this zone.

He has raised sheep and poultry for 26 years, and he also works as a farm laborer in fields away from his home. The money that he makes from these jobs has helped his family get ahead and progress all this time.

German is requesting a loan of 1000 new sols to acquire more sheep and to buy balanced food for his animals so that they will mature better and he will get more money when they are sold. His customers depend on the knowledge that he feeds his animals well.

Where he lives there is a great quantity of pasture to feed the sheep and the rainy season helps him raise more animals.
