A loan of $6,000 helped a member to buy flour, sweets, sugar, butter and more.

Mujeres Activas Group's story

Mujeres Activas works with the Fundación Paraguaya since 2010. They are in their seventh loan cycle thanks to their work together and constant support.

One of the members of the group is María. She has a candy shop in her neighborhood and she comments that she has good sales because the majority of her neighbors are her customers and this gives her very good earnings. María says that she is requesting the loan to buy general ingredients to make her products, including flour, sweets, sugar, butter and more.

She is grateful to the Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva for the opportunity that she is receiving. This will be of much help to her and her family.
