Roberto Carlos's story

Roberto is a very hardworking young man. He lives in the district of Parcona, which is characterized by its warm and friendly atmosphere; it is also known for its farming and livestock. in his free time he loves to watch television, especially comedies. One of his favorite dishes to eat is a local dish known as Tallarines Rojos (Red Noodles). With his characteristic charisma, Roberto runs his small business selling products for babies, such as play pens, walkers and other items. He works around 10 hours each day and can serve around 30 customers per day. He believes that his business is going well because he is very friendly to his customers and above all has a lot of patience with the mothers and fathers who come to his shop, especially those who are first-time parents. He is very grateful to the Kiva lenders since thanks to their help he will be able to buy merchandise for his shop such as bicycles, bathtubs, strollers and other items. This will enable him to offer a greater variety of products to his clients and increase his income. He will continue to fight to make his dream a reality: "to have a chain of stores."
