A loan of $10,000 helped to purchase inventory and equipment.

Angie's story

Angie came to the US nine years ago from Venezuela. When she arrived in NY, she knew very few people. What motivated Angie was her passion for starting a clothing business. When she met her now husband, Ricardo de Linares, they decided to join forces and start a business together. Angie and Ricardo have strong backgrounds in sales and a drive to provide quality clothing. Together, they opened their business, New Style New Life Inc. Angie is proud of their business. The business has been in operation for over two years. Angie’s business thrives on customer satisfaction and word of mouth.

Angie wants the store to be more than just a business exchange. She wants to help the clients as much as possible. Angie wants her clients to leave her store having purchased fashionable tailor-fit pieces. She wants her clients to love the experience of browsing and making purchases in her store.

Angie and Ricardo hope to use this loan to introduce new inventory into their shop and to purchase more equipment like mannequins and window showcases. With the new equipment, they hope to showcase new lines of clothing to better accommodate customers, and in so doing, improving customer service. Angie and Ricardo support their two children through this business.
