Nargiz is 44 years old. She lives in a small village in Khelvachauri District with her family: her three children (the elder children are students and the younger goes to the local school) and her husband, Tengiz. Nargiz and Tengiz are busy with agricultural business. They have two cows and produce cheese. Part of the cheese is used by the family and the rest is sold locally. They own 0.5 hectare of land, where they grow various vegetables and fruits. Nargiz and Tengiz are especially busy with the plot during the spring and summer seasons to get a good harvest. They sell the harvested product on the local open market.
Nargiz requested a loan to expand her agricultural business. She will purchase materials to build a greenhouse. In the greenhouse she will grow various vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbages, and greens) through the entire year. This will increase the sales and monthly income of the family. With the increased income Nargiz and Tengiz will repair the house. As a result of the above-mentioned, living conditions of the family will be improved.
