Leila is 42 years old. She lives in Gardabani District with her family: a 17-year-old son, Beka, and her brother and mother. Beka is an agricultural worker; he helps neighbor farmers in agricultural works and gets a service fee for the work. Her mother is a pensioner. Her brother has chronic health problems and gets a relevant pension from the local government. Leila is busy with agricultural activities. She has four milking cows and produces cheese. Leila and her mother sell milk and produced cheese in Tbilisi (the capital of Georgia). The total average monthly income of the family is 600 Lari. They work hard but their income is hardly enough for food for and everyday expenses of all four members of the family. They still don’t have enough income to make some savings for purchasing additional needed household goods or for renovation of the house.

Leila requested a loan for purchasing feed for the livestock and to repair the cattle shed because the existing one is very old and uncomfortable. She will feed her livestock well and will take good care of them in the new cattle shed. She hopes that it will increase milking and production of the cheese accordingly. Thus, Leila will get additional income. With increased income she will be able to repair the house for her son and leave something worthwhile for him for the future. Leila hopes for your help and kindness.
