A loan of $3,875 helped a member 5 baskets of tomatoes and 3 sacks of potatoes.

Etoile Group's story

Pose, age 36, is an entrepreneur and the leader of Etoile Group. She's the mother of two children and lives alone (without husband). Her eldest child is 22, the youngest 10. Unfortunately, they don't get to study due to a lack of financial means.

Pose sells tomatoes, onions, Rina cooking oil, vegetables, and potatoes. She's been running this business for six years, and benefited from eleven loans from Kiva's partner, Hekima.

Her start-up capital amounted to $5 she received from her younger brother. With it, she started selling grilled corn on the side of the road.

This new loan will enable her to get supplies (five baskets of tomatoes and three sacks of potatoes) and realize other micro projects with her family.

In addition, she wishes to see her children grow up and expand her business. Pose thanks Hekima for its actions in favor of poor women excluded from traditional banks.
