Choeurn is 48 years old. She is married and lives with her three children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in growing rice and fattening animals for more than five years, earning approximately $2 per day. Her husband is involved in fishing. He earns about $3 daily. Her children are employed. They earn about $6 per day.
Choeurn is requesting a loan of $500 to purchase a pumping machine to pump water into her rice field. In the future, she would like to build up her land with earth to prevent flooding.
