A loan of $450 helped to buy sweets like soft drinks, churros, candy, and cookies, etc.

Blanca Doris's story

Blanca, age 43, is the single mother of four children. However, she only lives with two of them in the city of San Pedro Sula.

Four years ago Blanca established her own business at the local market. She sells sweets like soft drinks, candy, churros, and some grocery products. This business is growing, and the sales have increased.

The loans have helped her to maintain a variety of products. She is currently requesting the second loan from ODEF. She will use the loan to buy more candy products in order to stock the business. Her goal is to save, to create more businesses, and to have financial solvency.
