A loan of $400 helped to buy fertilizer and herbicides, and to rent land.

Rene David's story

René is a small-scale farmer who lives with his wife and one child. He has been farming for about six years. He leaerned the trade from his father and up to now he has been raising staple grains and beans to feed his family.

He is asking for a loan to buy agricultural inputs like fertilizers, herbicides, and also to pay the rent on a plot of land and being preparing the land for planting. The loan will help by giving him economic resources so as to have everything ready for the planting of the corn, hoping to have an abundant and healthy crop that will generate a profit for his family and also their necessary food source.

He aspires to improve his production of basics, find more land to cultivate, and to be able to offer his family greater stability.
