A loan of $500 helped to buy three plots of land and feed for his ranching operation.

Irene Alfredo's story

Irene is involved in cattle ranching, an activity he learned as a result of having to make money for his family. This is a business he began about two years ago buying and selling cattle, which he often does in a place where many ranchers sell their cattle, though in other cases he goes to other locations to make his sales. He lives with his wife and a six year old daughter.

He asked for a loan to buy three plots of land and feed for his animals and acquiring a feed concentrate. This loan will help him since he already knows a person who is selling this land at a good price, and it will serve him well for the ranching and in the future he can sell them and gain a margin of profit on the price.

His objective is to continue working and developing his cattle raising, and also to allow him to build his own house where he can live more comfortably with his family.
