Yuvinalis is a resident of Nyamira in South Rift Kenya. He has been in farming for 27 years and farming income is the only source of livelihood for his family of 8 children. His farm produces mainly maize, beans, tea and milk. He runs his farm with the help of three farmhands on casual basis.

Yuvinalis has requested a loan of 50,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to help him buy an additional dairy cow. He believes this will boost his milk output to meet his family's requirement as well as generate additional income to help pay for the education of his last four children.

Yuvinalis says poor road networks coupled with undeveloped markets are the main challenges to farmers in the area. He is however appreciative of Juhudi Kilimo's technical support to smallholder farmers.
