A loan of $2,000 helped a member to stock up on merchandise.

Unidas Group's story

Unidas is a supportive group of Credituyo. It has 7 female members who are entrepreneurs. Their names are Adelina, Alma, Juana, Ma de los Angeles, Mariana, Raquel and Rebeca. Adelina, one of the members, is 45 years old, married and a mother of three children of 7, 9 and 12 years of age.

She makes a living selling regional sweets with her husband, having done so for many years. Adelina plans to use her loan to stock up more merchandise because it is running out very soon. She has to stock up every third day in the center of the city.

In the future Adelina would like to have her own locale to sell the local sweets wholesale, which include "leche quemada" and "membrillo". Here she would attend to the business with her huband and children.

In this group: Adelina, Alma Denise, Juana Maria, Ma De Los Angeles, Mariana, Raquel Margarita, Rebeca
