A loan of $525 helped to buy ingredients like flour, sugar, and yeast.

Benita's story

Benita is 43 years old and has 3 children (ages 3, 6, and 12); the two oldest children are school age. She makes a living making and selling a variety of pastries in her bakery that is located in the city of Rio Seco.

This loan is her first loan cycle within the institution. Benita is going to use the loan to buy ingredients such as flour, sugar, and yeast for baking her empanadas and cookies. Her reason for asking for this loan is because of a lack of capital.

Benita faces challenges in her business such as improving the quality of her life. She is going to use the profits to increase her production level.

Her wish is to one day have a cafe where she can also offer her delicious pastries to all of her customers.
