Naim is from Kosovo. He is single and lives with extended family. To make a living, Naim owns and operates a transportation business. The main source of income for the business comes from providing transport goods such as wood and furniture to local members of the community. He has been engaged in his business for over five years and earns enough from these activities to support the needs of his family.
Being the only financial provider for his family, he has not been able to save money for the bad days. This is why Naim, for the first time, is requesting a Kiva loan through KosInvest to repair a transport vehicle and to buy new wheels.
Naim plans to use the revenue from the business to improve his family's living conditions. He is grateful to KosInvest and Kiva lenders and will continue to work hard to grow his business.
KosInvest is a micro-enterprise development organization that provides loans to help people in rural Kosovo generate more income and improve their living conditions. It offers a wide range of loan products, from loans tailored to micro and small enterprises to loans designed to help women-headed households.
