Batzaya's story

Batzaya is 24 and lives with her husband, parents, and a son in an apartment she owns in Darhan province, Mongolia. Her husband works for a mining company in South Gobi province and her father works as a repairer. Batzaya used to be a shop assistant at her sister’s shoe store and she worked on salary. In January 2012, she started her own business and rented a space to retail shoes. Her mother helps with her business. Batzaya started her business with 1,000,000 MNT in working capital and now has increased her working capital to 5,000,000 MNT. Batzaya already has many regular costumers and wants to expand her business as in the summer product demand is high and she would like to purchase more merchandise to sell.

Batzaya is requesting a 3,000,000 MNT loan to buy summer shoes for 1,500,000 MNT, children clothing for 2,000,000 MNT, and fund transportation costs with 300,000 MNT. She is a hardworking and good natured woman.
