A loan of $575 helped to buy utensils to make fried foods in his food cart.

Sigifredo De Jesus's story

Sgifredo has had to overcome many problems in his life. However, his strong spirit and a desire to get ahead have allowed him and his family to overcome adversity. Fifteen years ago he had to leave his farm because of violence in the town where he was born. He had to leave everything behind and seek a better quality of life, starting from nothing.

The first job that Sigifredo managed to find was selling doughnuts. Over time and with a lot of hard work, it grew into a business. Now through commitment and dedication he has managed to obtain a food cart and is able to offer a greater variety of products.

He is now seeking a loan to buy the utensils he needs to make fried foods in his cart. In this way he will succeed in overcoming the problems that have beset him, and his family's financial situation will be greatly improved. They will have a better quality of life and better economic opportunities.
