A loan of $400 helped to buy everyday items for sewing.

Josephine's story

Josephine is a 31 year old married woman with two children, aged between 7 and 10 years. Both go to school. She opened and has run a small sewing shop mixed with a notions store in an area of the city for three years already. Her business works thanks to her knowledge and her experience which has allowed her to increase her customer base with time. She would like to buy sewing material wholesale to stock her little notions shop (bobbins of thread, fabric, needles, clasps) and sell retail to her customers. This will also help her for the clothing that she sews to resell. She would like to save the profits that this loan will bring her to help her husband with a portion of the education of their children and keep the rest because she would like to open another studio.
