A loan of $1,500 helped to buy new computers for his Internet cafe and pave the entrance.

Kassem's story

Kassem is a 27-year-old single man who has run an Internet café with his father for more than eight years now. He offers Internet access and a digital gaming network to his customers, who are mostly teenagers. Throughout the years, he succeeded in building a respectful reputation for his place, whilst maintaining quality service and competitive prices.

Kassem is always keen on developing and expanding his business. He has already saved some money, and he is applying for a Youth Loan from Kiva’s partner, Al Majmoua, to complete what he needs. He will use the loan to pave the entrance to his shop and to buy new computers for $550 each.
