A loan of $450 helped to buy beans, oil and sugar to make porridge.

Afiwavi's story

Afiwavi is 28 years old; she is married, and the mother of two children, ages 6 and 10. Her husband is an auto painter and she is involved in small retail business. Specifically, she sells porridge and fritters.

For the past year, she has relied on WAGES and she is currently requesting a loan for the purchase of ingredients to make porridge.

She would like to improve her activity and to offer a wider selection of dishes to her customers. She hopes to increase her business, improve her children's diet, and take care of their educational needs.

It should be noted that Afiwavi started her business in 2008, that she usually buys her supplies in Lomé and that another person helps her with her business.
