A loan of $1,425 helped to finish building corrals.

Ana Maria's story

Ana is a young single mother head of household; she has two children who are 7 and 10 years old. She’s an entrepreneur who has taken up the business that’s a family tradition and has made it grow quite a bit. Her mother started the business of selling pigs with just a single pig someone gave her and from there the business got going and she was able to support Ana with it. Now that Ana is responsible for it, she’s making a big effort to move it forward to generate income so that her mother can have a good quality of life and also to support her own two children providing them with a good home.

Because her orders have increased considerably, Ana decided to start building new corrals for the pigs and chicks she raises because they don’t fit any longer in the ones she normally uses but because Ana does not have much capital she needs a loan to finish building the new corrals where all the pigs and the chicks can fit. In this way she will be able to respond to customer demand and will be able to generate improved income for her home and to provide her two children with better living conditions as well as access to a better quality education.
