A loan of $550 helped with her desire to buy chicks, feed rations, vitamins and medications to increase the size of her chicken brood and to respond to her clients' demands.

Ana's story

The borrower is a married mother of 4 children who all attend school. She lives in her own home with her family and she does not financially support anyone else.
She runs a business raising and selling chickens, and with this current loan she intends to buy chicks, feed rations, vitamins and medications in order to increase the size of her brood and to respond to her clients' requirements.
In the future she wishes to increase the size of her brood and build new hen-houses in other areas; as such, she promises to punctually repay her loan according to the stated schedule so that she can apply again to Hluvuku.
The biggest challenge that she faces is a lack of funds which prevents her from being able to expand her business into other districts.
