A loan of $775 helped to buy five boxes of milk, five boxes of sugar, five boxes of oil, and eight sets of traditional wax fabric.

Justine's story

Married and the mother of six children, two of whom are still in school, Justine has been selling oil, canned food, traditional damask-type “bazin” wax fabric and other items for a number of years. She stocks up at certain markets of Benin. Her customer base is large and diverse, composed of people from Benin and Nigeria. In order to increase her sales volume and meet customer demand, she has requested and obtained a microloan from Finadev. The current loan will allow her to buy boxes of milk, sugar, oil, and sardines. Thanks to her savings, Justine would like to contribute to the cost of professional education for her children, as well as to put some money aside.
