Catherine is a 40-year-old married woman from Talibon, Bohol, Philippines whose husband is a fisherman in their area. They have been in the fishing business for 20 years now. She is asking for a loan to buy fishing materials such as fishing nets and other items.
Catherine and her husband work hard to support their family, especially their eight children who are 18, 17, 14, 12, 10, 9, 5, and 3 years old.
In the future, Catherine hopes to improve their fishing business so that they will be able to increase their family income. With the earnings that they will get from the business, Catherine and her husband will be able to send their children to school to attain higher levels of learning, which will be essential for a brighter future.
