A loan of $775 helped to buy small animals such as ducks, chicken and guinea pis.

Sabina's story

Sabina is a member of the Communal Bank Delfín and is 54 years old. She is married and the mother of seven children. She has been a member of FINCA Peru for three years and makes a living selling grains and small animals like guinea pigs and chickens. She likes the training the receives much in her Communal Bank because there she learned and is still learning more to improve her business. It also allows her to be distracted since she shares her experiences with the other members. She says that it is very nice to attend the meetings because her promoter makes them laugh is very entertaining.

The loan she is requesting will be invested in traveling to the markets to buy small animals such as ducks, chickens and guinea pigs, as well as grains such as wheat, 'maca' (root vegetable from the Andes) and amaranth to then sell them in the market.
