A loan of $1,700 helped to buy sewing supplies.

Maria Gloria's story

María is a person who has been noted for the great strength she’s had to overcome life’s adversities. Thanks to this she’s getting ahead with her husband and three children. She’s been sewing for the last ten years in order to generate income to contribute economically to cover household expenses and thanks to the effort she’s put into her workshop she’s attained an improved quality of life at home and has provided her three children with a better quality education.

Last year she had some health issues because she had knee surgery that kept her from working for a long time and this had a negative effect on household economic conditions. She’s now resumed work and is looking for a loan that will make it possible for her to buy raw materials like fabric, needles and thread, among others to make her items and continue to have better economic conditions at home. In this way she’ll be able to restart her work and continue generating income her home requires in order to be in better economic conditions at home.
