A loan of $975 helped to buy ready-to-wear clothing for children and sewing products in Dakar for resale.

Hourèye's story

Hourey is 40 years of age and a married mother, and lives in the main city. She buys ready-to-wear clothing for children and sewing products in Dakar, which she then resells. She has a small store at home where she stocks her merchandise, and has worked in this business for 10 years.

To increase her operating capacity, Hourey has requested a loan of 500,000 XOF. This will allow her to buy more merchandise to meet demand, and to have greater profits. She plans to use these profits to cover her personal needs and increase her working capital.
