Saumu is from the town of Mombasa. She's a married woman with three children, two of whom are in school. She operates a kiosk where she sells a variety of products including maize and wheat flour, soap, rice and other fast-selling goods. Aside from that, she gets other income from her husband who works in a certain company.
Saumu is a very hardworking, responsible and honest lady, as her customers say. Her longtime dream is to work independently, so that she no longer depends on someone else. Through her hard work and dedication, she has achieved what she so desired and already has her own kiosk. She requests this loan in order to add stock of maize flour, rice and sugar, so that she can continue to offer her customers the variety to which they are accustomed.
Saumu gives thanks for the opportunity she's being given.
