A loan of $575 helped to purchase farming equipment.

Yuriy's story

Yuriy came to an agreement with a scientific research institute involved in issues of growing berry fields and vegetable crops with drip irrigation in 2006 and planted his first 50 grape vines. This is how his farming business began. His son, who works as a repairman at a factory, helps him with the business. Yuriy decided to plant 100 grape vines on his new plots of land. His future plans include building a greenhouse to grow grape vines for sale, buying a mini-tractor to treat his land plots and also buying a refrigerator for storing grapes. His personal plans include building a house.
