Djiguéne Bakhna 40, an association for the empowerment of women, is made up of 5 members who are active in buying and selling vegetables, and is located about 22 km from the main town. The association is led by Astou, who is both a wife and a mother.

Astou has been buying and reselling vegetables (cabbage, eggplant, carrots, manioc) for over ten years now.
