A loan of $450 helped to buy soles for girls' shoes, white and yellow glue, linings, trimming and fabrics.

Yadira's story

Señora Yadira lives in the department of Masaya. She has worked as a storekeeper for the last eight years. Her business consists of a footwear workshop, set up and run by her and her husband. She has three employees working in the footwear workshop, which is located in her home. Among others, they make dress shoes for girls and ladies. Señora Yadira is an enterprising woman who not only runs the footwear workshop, but also works as a seamstress of handmade clothing and is very proud of this work. She says that she does not like to limit herself to just one thing, but likes to be innovative, to offer her customers a product of excellent quality. Once again, she has applied to our CEPRODEL office for a loan that would allow her to purchase raw materials for her business and meet the demand that she feels is on the increase. She believes that her sales and income have increased, thus enabling her to provide a better quality of life for her family.
