A loan of $1,775 helped a member to stock up with merchandise to increase her inventory of clothing.

Reynas Del Sur Group's story

The communal bank "Reynas del Sur" is a group that is working with Credituyo in Guadalupe. The group has 6 members who are all women, and their names are: Anabel, Erika, Josefina, Liliana, Maria de Lourdes, and Nora. They have been friends and neighbors for more than 10 years, and they understand each other very well because they are all merchants who want to make progress with their respective businesses. The reason that they formed this group is so that they could request loans that would enable them to invest in their businesses.

Nora is one of the members. She is 32 years old, and is the mother of 4 children aged 17, 15, 5 and 3. She is in a common-law marriage with her partner.

Nora plans to use this loan to stock up with merchandise, including seasonal clothing, cosmetics and accessories. In the future, Nora would like to have a big store where she could sell women's clothing and accessories, because right now she is selling in the traveling markets. She wants to become a great businesswoman so that her children will have a happy life without any kind of hardship.
