Gloria Angeles's story

Gloria is a young 22 year old woman who lives in Leon and currently studies at the university there. Despite her young age, she is a very hard-working woman and has dedicated herself to running a small grocery/general store. She began her store on her own initiative two years ago, because she wanted to be an independent person. Her mother supports Gloria with the store by helping customers and selling products at home while Gloria attends university. The store is one source of Gloria's income, as she also works as a domestic in the community. Now, Gloria would like to invest in her store to be able to offer various products to her customers and to earn a better income.

Gloria is asking for a loan to purchase basic grains, rice, eggs, oil, sugar, juice, bread, milk, etc.--all necessary items for her store. She believes that this loan will help her to better stock her store to attract more customers, increase her sales, and improve her income. Her future plans are to diversify her business to become a more successful merchant, and Gloria hopes to count on Kiva's support to achieve her dreams and continue moving forward.
