Doña Julia is a client and a decent individual who is worthy of admiration and respect. She left western Bolivia in search of a better way of life. Once she was in Cochabamba, she met her husband Carlos at the serigraph company where they worked together. After time passed, they decided to become independent and start their own business since they knew the trade and had several years of experience. With dedication, they have done well over time and their business has grown. Through their efforts and work, they were able to buy a car that Carlos now uses in his job as a taxi driver on those days when he is not working on serigraphs.

Julia and her husband want to grow their business. They have accepted larger contracts, but lack operating capital. For this reason, Julia is requesting this current loan in order to acquire supplies that they are lacking such as paints, frames, thinners, and other materials so that they can produce serigraphs and fulfill their existing contracts.
