A loan of $400 helped to buy products to re-sell.

Adama's story

Adama is a resident of Senegal. She is also a mother. She chose to sell detergents (bleach and soap powder) and fabric as a way of making income. She started working in this business in 2004. She places her products in the different markets in her town and sells them on credit. She is a member of one of U-IMCEC's offices and has already repaid three previous loans. She is requesting a loan for 200,000 francs to buy fabric to re-sell. This will enable her to save more and expand her business. In the future, she would like to become financially independent and be able to finance her business activities with her own funds.
