A loan of $1,000 helped to buy animal feed.

Alberto's story

Alberto lives in Bolivia in Cochabamba in Cercado Province in the Azirumaca zone. He’s 59-years-old and a widower.

He’s a humble, hardworking person who has a son in his care. He only studied elementary school because he did not have the resources needed to study further. His family was of very low income. He’s been raising cattle for milk production for several years.

Alberto became a widower a few months ago when his wife died of a heart attack in Argentina. Alberto works with his family milking in the early hours, feeding the cattle, cleaning the corrals and doing other farm chores.

He needs the loan to buy nutritionally balanced feed for his cattle because he used up his working capital paying for the paperwork related to bringing his wife’s body back who died a few months ago.
