A loan of $1,700 helped to purchase cattle.

Arapatkhan's story

Arapatkhan is 58 years old, widowed, and has three children. Arapatkhan has been raising livestock since 1987; she started her business with 20,000 soms. Thanks to her hard work, Arapatkhan's business now has 15 sheep, and earns quarterly profits of about 20,000 soms (KGS) from the sale of meat products. To develop her business further, Arapatkhan has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan in the amount of 80,000 soms (KGS) to buy some dairy cattle. Arapatkhan plans to invest the proceeds from the loans into further increasing her number of domestic livestock.
