A loan of $750 helped to purchase livestock.

Cholpon's story

Cholpon is a thirty-eight-year-old mother of 4. In 1997, looking for a new way to provide for her family, she began a farming and animal raising business from a starting capital of 10,000 soms. Thanks to her hard work and dedication, she was able to expand her business to include 2 cows with offspring, 10 heads of small-horned cattle and a monthly income of 3,500 soms generated by selling milk.

Hoping to expand her business even more, she approached "Bai Tushum and Partners" with a request for a loan of 35,000 soms in order to purchase some livestock. Cholpon plans to reinvest profits from the loan back into her business.
