Gloria's story

Gloria is a member of the “El Paraíso” (Paradise) communal bank in Coronel Portillo District, Ucayali Department. She’s 65-years-old, single and has seven adult children.

She will use her new, 2200 new sol, loan to buy: 1 package of gauze, 1 package of cotton, 3 boxes of Delocordralan [non-steroidal anti-inflammatory], a box of alcohol, a box of Aspirin, a box of alcohol iodate, a dozen Red Aseptil [a topical antiseptic], a box of Vicks VapoRub, a box of Panadol flu remedy and one box of Apronax [pain killer].

This business makes her life much easier because it generates more income that’s sufficient for her to live in comfort; she thanks Manuela Ramos for having confidence in her personally and in her business.
