Sopheap is 37 years old. She is married and blessed with one child in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in cultivating cassava for more than ten years, earning approximately $6 per day. Her husband is a soldier who earns about $4 per day. He is joining her in the picture above along with their child. In order to improve her family’s finances, Sopheap is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase rubber plants for cultivating. By doing so, she would earn additional income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and send her child to school. Moreover, she hopes to renovate her present house to make it more convenient for her family.
