A loan of $1,000 helped to buy more products for her store.

Leydi Yasenia's story

Leydi is 31 years old, married and has three children. She owns a small store which she has been running for eight years. The store is located in her own home so that she doesn't have to neglect her family. This is how she helps towards covering her household expenses. Leydi is a very visionary woman as she saw that there were no stores where she lives and so started her business. She also wanted to feel useful and for her husband to be proud of her.

Leydi's husband buys the products for her store because his job is distributing these products. He travels from their home to the city which takes him 40 minutes by car.

Leydi is requesting a loan from Fundación Campo to buy more products for her store. Her aim is to strengthen her business, improve her profits and cover her family's needs. One of these needs is providing her children with an education.

Leydi says that she plans to use the profits that she makes from this investment to save up so that she can start a pig-raising business. She currently owns one sow but her wish is to own a pig farm.
