A loan of $3,675 helped a member to buy miscellaneous products for sale.

Regard De Jesus 1, 2, 3 & 4 Group's story

Macius is the coordinator of his group, which is called Regard de Jesus. He is a widower, and has two children. He lives in the north of Haiti, where electricity is rare and the water supply is very limited.

Macius has run his business for the past 12 years, and would like to use this loan to invest in the grocery store where he sells miscellaneous products. He hopes that the loan will help him have a bigger business. Other members of his group need loans for businesses such as coal, miscellaneous products and cosmetic sales.

Macius says that his biggest challenge is the lack of purchases, and the fact that too many people ask him for credit. He says that his main goal is to have more money so that, with the help of God, he can have a large business.

In this group: Macius, Annerose, Lucia, Annemarie, Ginette, Wismin, Silianne, Rosanna, Danise, Christianne, Simeone, Nelsie, Magalie, Andrelle, Guerlin, Lucienne*, Benite*, Josette, Cleomene*, Ramise*
