The ten members of the "Niagnegueton 6" group are married women, on average 32 years old with four children, and all live in traditional households in Sincina Sesso, one of the towns in Koutiala, the 3rd administrative region of Mali.
They work with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso in order to run their farms well during the rainy season.
They are on their seventh loan with the institution, and the previous loans were repaid properly.
Adiaratou, standing second from the left in the photo, grows beans.
With her loan, she intends to buy agricultural inputs, seeds, and small farming equipment, and to pay for labour costs to maintain 2 hectares.
The produce will be sold in the town and at the market in Koutiala after the harvest to a clientele composed of men and women.
She intends to realize an average profit of 310,000 FCFA at the end of the cycle.
This profit will allow her to repay her loan and also help her husband with the daily expenses.

Elles collaborent avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de mener à bien leurs activités agricoles pendant l’hivernage.
Elles sont à leur septième prêt avec l’institution, les prêts passés ont été bien remboursés.

Avec son prêt, elle compte acheter des intrants, des semences, des petits matériels agricoles et payer les frais de labour pour entretenir 2 hectares.
La production sera vendue au niveau du village et au marché de Koutiala, après la récolte, à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes.
Elle compte réaliser un bénéfice moyen de 310.000FCFA en fin de campagne.
Ce bénéfice lui permettra de payer son prêt et aussi d’aider son mari dans les dépenses quotidiennes.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients.
