A loan of $2,125 helped to purchase cattle.

Jumakan's story

Jumakan is 54 years old and married. For the past 36 years, she has been raising livestock, having started her business with a sum of 6,000 som (KGS). Thanks to her hard work, Jumakan's farm currently has 1 dairy cow with offspring and 1 horse, while sales of milk and dairy products bring roughly 5,000 som per month. Jumakan also works 3.05 hectares of land where she grows potatoes and grains.

In order to continue developing her business, Jumakan has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to purchase 2 more cows. She will raise them on pastures, which will allow her to spend less on fodder. Jumakan plans to invest her profits from this loan into further increasing the size of her herd.
