Mburucuya Group's story

The “Mburucuya” community bank is a very strong committee of 14 women who work and help each other out. These ladies are from the city of Villarrica and they are all friends and neighbors. They always meet up to lend each other support in their joint efforts to improve their financial situation.

One of the members of this group is Carmen who is a hairdresser. She has a business with the minimum equipment she needs to be able to do her work well. Thanks to her business, she is able to support and help her family.

Carmen is requesting a loan to buy hairspray, shampoo, conditioner, scissors, combs and other supplies so that she can stock her business and thereby be able to continue providing a good service to her customers.

In this group: Ada Gladys , Liz, Luz, Marisa, Lorenza, Fidelina, Carmen, Eulalia, Maria, Nilsa, Diana, Bernardina, Alicia, Liz
