Sidi was born in 1979 in Lofigue. He is married and the father of four children, and lives with his family in the town of Loulouni, a sub-prefecture in the 3rd administrative region of Mali (Sikasso).

Sidi has been trading fuel for around six years. He has a good reputation in this business, and receives many orders. However his resources do not allow him to meet demand. He has therefore decided to collaborate with Soro Yiriwaso.

This is his first loan, and he will use it to purchase two barrels of fuel. He will then resell them retail and for cash to a mixed clientele.

Sidi expects to make an average monthly profit of approximately 100 000 CFA francs, which he will use to pay off most of his expenditure, contribute to his family’s expenses, pay off interest on the loan and invest in his business.

He is hoping to become a wholesaler by opening a service station in Loulouni to better serve his customers.
