A loan of $1,200 helped to buy merchandise to stock his store.

Miguel's story

Miguel, 44, is married to Delia, 36; they have 8 children five of which are attending secondary school and three elementary school.

Miguel started out as a merchant over seven years ago since 2005. He started out with some money he’d saved up working as an employee in a carpentry shop for several years. After getting married, his wife helped him open a store which has grown over the years. They currently have a large clientele in the community because of their good service and the variety of products they offer in their store.

He’s asking for the loan to buy soft-drinks, flour, oil, sugar, noodles, etc. to stock the store and provide wider variety for his customers.
