A loan of $600 helped to buy seeds, fertilizer and animals.

Flavia Domitila's story

Flavia is a member of the 'Nuevo Bankito la Ramada' community bank. She lives in a community in Nabón canton. This area has a very rugged landscape. It is a cold-climate area and has large tracts of land where people can enjoy nature and escape the daily city routine. The locals raise animals and farm. In addition, many of them travel to the city every day in order to carry out different business activities. They still maintain the culture and traditions of their ancestors.

Flavia is 33 years old and the single mother of 4-month-old twins. She does not own her own home. She lives in her father's house but independently.

Our member works in agriculture, growing vegetables which she sells in her community. She also raises and sells guinea pigs, hens and pigs.

This is Flavia's third loan as a member of her community bank and she will invest it in buying seeds, fertilizer and animals. Her dream is to own her own home.
