32-Villa Paraiso Group's story

The '32-VILLA PARAISO' community bank has nine members: seven women and two men. The bank's president, Giovanna, is 22 years old and single. Her business is selling cereals on one of the busiest avenues in the city of Cochabamba. This loan is her sixth with the institution. Giovanna will use her loan to buy cereals wholesale and thereby increase her working capital. Her reason for requesting this loan is to continue improving her business. She will use the profits to continue buying merchandise and thereby improve her income. Her wish for her business is to have a store where she can sell a variety of cereals. Giovanna is a very hard-working person. She feels happy with the opportunity that she and her fellow group members are being given as some of them are supporting their families on their own.
